The Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) selected CORMAC as an awardee for the Data Readiness for Artificial Intelligence Development (DRAID) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). JAIC’s mission, as stated in the DoD AI Strategy, is to “accelerate the delivery of AI-enabled capabilities [and] scale the Department-wide impact of AI.” The DRAID vehicle will facilitate the DoD’s ability to deliver rapid and agile AI technologies, benefitting both industry and government partners.

AI-enabled systems depend on the quality and availability of data used to build them. We will leverage our team’s expertise to prepare, create, and manage AI models and applications for the DoD, focusing on the unique challenges involved in operationalizing data for AI, including:

  • Data Engineering
  • Data Architecture
  • Software Development
  • Cloud Services

We are grateful for the opportunity to support the DoD in advancing their AI strategy and overall digital transformation. This award is one further step in CORMAC’s continuous data innovation efforts and builds on our established AI/ML practice at CORMAC, where we have built game-changing products such as CREPES and AI/ML Models to identify Medicare improper payments. We placed in the top 25 of the CMS AI Health Outcomes Challenge.
