Contract Award: CMS Medicare Quality Assurance (MQA) component to our National Claims History (NCH/COBOL) contract

CORMAC has been awarded a contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Quality Assurance (MQA) component to our NCH project. MQA plays a critical role in the claims processing lifecycle at CMS. The MQA front-end receives daily batches from Common Working File (CWF) of Medicare Part A and Part B claims data (Inpatient/SNF, Outpatient, Home Health, Hospice, Carrier and DMERC). The MQA was implemented as a Quality Assurance system to stand between Host data and the national database repositories to cleanse the data and detect, assess, and report the presence of surface and relational edit errors missed by the Hosts.
