CORMAC is pleased to announce that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded the Civil Money Penalty (CMP) Application and CMP Reinvestment State Plan Reviews Contract to CORMAC.
As part of its continued commitment to America’s most vulnerable populations, CMS launched the Civil Money Penalty Reinvestment Program (CMPRP) to improve quality of life by equipping nursing home residents and staff with programs to enhance resident care and quality of life. Under this program, CMS funded several projects to provide meaningful activities and training; topics included oral health hygiene, multi-sensory rooms for relaxation, dementia training, and several other topics that went above and beyond what the nursing homes were already required to provide! These programs have immensely impacted nursing home residents by improving engagement, socialization, depression, etc.
The CMPRP program has been very successful even during the trying COVID-19 pandemic when applications for Communicative Technology and Visitation Aids increased dramatically.
CORMAC will continue to provide business process services to assist with screening CMP reinvestment applications and State plans for reinvestment of CMP funds. CORMAC will bring innovations using AI/RPA to improve business processes. CORMAC will also provide analytics, database administration, and other administrative support.
