CORMAC has been awarded a contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to become the prime contractor for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), Long Term Care Hospital and Hospice Quality Reporting Programs Analytics, Outreach, and Support under the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ).
“Our work will promote higher quality and more efficient health care for Medicare beneficiaries by supporting these critical quality reporting programs,” said CORMAC President Dominic Raj. “We look forward to supporting the administration of the Quality Improvement Organizations Program (QIO). As prime contractor, CORMAC will lead the outreach, education, communications, payment determination, reconsideration, help desk and business process support to accomplish program objectives.”
Teaming partners Telligen and Nguyen Information Consulting (NIC) will support CORMAC in this effort. The IRF contract was awarded for $4 million, and is composed of a base plus 2 option years, with the potential for support to continue through 2018.
